The Navari Family Center for Digital Scholarship (CDS) provides the campus community with access to a variety of digital scholarship resources, including consultations/workshops on a variety of topics, such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Text Mining & Analysis, Digital Humanities, Data Use & Analysis, and Digitization and Metadata, as well as access to specialized technology and technology-enhanced spaces.

The Visual Resource Center helps users discover, engage, and transform the way they use visual material, providing access to digital images and other media for teaching, scholarship, projects, assignments, and visual literacy.
The Writing Center assists users with writing projects. Whatever your major or skill level, you can benefit from their services. Experienced tutors are available for drop-in help or you may book an appointment.

All of the training resources listed should be free for Notre Dame students, faculty, and staff. In certain cases, you may be required to create a free account for access. For any normally paid resources, access should be free when signing up with your ND-affiliated Google account.

LinkedIn Learning is a paid training resource. However, if you are a resident of St. Joseph County—this includes students living in campus housing—you may access LinkedIn Learning courses for free by getting a digital library card.

This is caused by Adobe Premiere's inability to handle variable frame rate—often produced by Apple devices such as the iPhone or iPad. If you wish to edit video recorded in variable frame rate in Adobe Premiere, you may need to open and re-encode those files in the Handbrake application (available on all library computers).
Follow these instructions for re-encoding your files in Handbrake and your files should now be properly synced when you open them in Premiere.
